Its lines of research cover key technologies such as 5G and 6G mobile networks, visible light communications (VLC), massive MIMO systems, smart antennas, satellite communications and software-defined radio (SDR).
From a sectoral point of view, the area seeks to promote innovation in multiple strategic sectors such as telecommunications, automotive, defense, energy, transport and health.
