CPI INNOVATION TOUR EXPERIENCE FOR ISPIM
On 29th of November, Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación (CPI) invites for a tour experience to ISPIM Connects Valencia 2021 community. The CPI tour is one of the several events scheduled at the ISPIM conference for their attendees.
The visit will show to ISPIM innovators an example of innovation practice held by international researchers based at CPI institutes, laboratories and groups.
CPI is the science park of Universitat Politècnica de València and the epicentrum of innovation at València city. The park is built on a Open Collaboration Network model, with a flexible configuration, that brings together public and private stakeholders that share their knowledge and resources on a voluntary basis.
This tour will be offering an innovation experience while visiting the following institutes in the itinerary scheduled:
- 15.15 h. Reception at CPI main entrance.
- 15.15 -15.20 h. Getting to know CPI UPV Science Park (walking through the innovation ecosystem)
- 15.20 – 15.40 h. Visiting ai2 labs.
- 15.40 – 16.00 h. Visiting ITI lab.
- 16.00 – 16.20 h. Visiting CBIT labs.
- 16.20 – 16.50 h. Visiting Lab LENI
- 16.50 – 17.00 h. End of the innovation tour.
CPI: The Polytechnic City of Innovation
The Polytechnic City of Innovation (CPI) is the Science Park of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). The Science Park is conceived as a space, not only in physical terms, to connect university, business and society in order to streamline the generation of knowledge-intensive activities. The CPI aims to contribute to capitalise the UPV’s knowledge generating impact by transferring its results and contributing to socio-economic development.
The Polytechnic City of Innovation houses a large part of the research activity of the UPV (organized in research institutes ) over a total of 140,000 m2 of scientific infrastructure and projects to society the activity carried out by more than 3,000 researchers.
In the Polytechnic City of Innovation there is also space for companies.
- Start-up: initiatives that arise from students or graduates of the UPV.
- Spin-off: promoted by researchers from the UPV, based on research results that are property of the UPV.
- Corporate laboratories of companies that have a strong collaboration with the UPV both in research and recruitment of talent.
ISPIM Connects Valencia Conference
ISPIM invites to all the participants to discover the value of our innovative ecosystem and to visit reimagine possibilities and responses to innovation management challenges with new horizons.
